I built a dock on a floating dock after a hurricane on the intercoastal waterway in Florida. You just don't understand life until you've worked on a floating Huck Finn raft running a saw and drill while yachts and big ships go by making huge 🌊wake ✌️🇺🇸😎

Sweet👍🏻 I'm from Wisconsin and my grandfather bought some land in 2010 and we dug a 4 acre pond it's spring fed with average depth is 5'-6' & 12' at the deepest..We stocked it with Shad, Bluegills, Perch and Large mouth bass.. Some of the bass are over 6 lbs now 👍🏻

Ive built a handfull of platforms amd docks this way and a lil tip for more stability is to actually add some water as ballast to the barrels. Trust me, it makes a hell of a difference

Yall have enough pipe to set two at the start and the end. Then you can just take the barrels out and make it a permanent dock. I used to build and install dock for a living for 14 years. Your dad looking for work lol he builds one hell of a dock. 🤙🏼

I did this too. Ended up filli g the barrels part way with water (ballast) to get it to be more stable and ride in the water instead of way out of the water. Looks great though, many years of use.

If you position it correctly, coming off of the trailer, you can flip it side over side, and if correctly positioned, it will flop into the water.
