In this comprehensive tutorial, we dive deep into the world of ratchet straps, covering everything from the buckle system to the ratcheting action, and even the release mechanism. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced user, this video has something for everyone.

First, we break down the three main types of ratchet straps: one-piece, two-piece, and auto-retracting. We explain the unique features and advantages of each, helping you understand which one suits your specific needs. By the end of this video, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to confidently choose the right ratchet strap for any situation.

But it doesn't stop there! We provide invaluable advice on when to use each method, ensuring your loads are always securely fastened. Our top tips and tricks will help you extend the lifespan of your ratchet straps and keep them in optimal condition for years to come.

Ever faced the challenge of wind catching your strap on tall loads? Worry no more! We introduce you to the twist method, a clever technique that prevents wear and tear generated by wind causing the strap to flap. You'll learn when and how to apply this method to keep your straps in great shape.

Additionally, we address the issue of sharp edges on your loads. We guide you through effective ways to protect the webbing strap, ensuring it remains durable and intact, even in the presence of sharp edges. Safety and longevity go hand in hand!

Moreover, we demonstrate a simple yet reliable knot technique to secure any excess webbing strap length. No more tangled messes or loose ends! This technique will help you keep your workspace organised and prevent any hazards caused by loose straps.

Finally, we tackle the challenge of securing your load when your trailer lacks suitable lashing points or the strap hook doesn't match the radius of your fixing point. We share a securing technique that will save the day in such situations, giving you peace of mind and ensuring a secure hold.

God, I wish I’d found this first! Would have saved me a lot of trouble. Tons of American ones, none of them as as clear as yours.

I really wish you zoomed in more on the buckle location and how it's oriented. Because for a true beginner like me it is so far zoomed out. I have no idea how he did that continuous buckle loop because it's so far away. I can't see which way the buckle is facing

what you do with the single part ratchet can easily be done with a 2 part ratchet as well! just add a loop arund the cargo!

This video is extremely helpful. But the straps we have are stubborn no matter how we try and it doesn't help its most likely improperly ratcheted

With the first strap his hand is completely covering the ratchet so the most important way to "thread" the strap.... is impossible to see! Major fail straight off!

Terrible way of using wire hook at webbing, use delta rings .Flat delta rings are inexpensive, round delta rings are less harmful on the webbing .
