Cryptocurrency advance fee scams

Don't sent your valuable hard-earned cryptocurrency to some random address.

You wouldn't think this message would need to be repeated, but people are scammed by this on a regular basis.

In this video I look at some of the reasons why people fall victim to scams in the cryptocurrency space that would never, ever trick them if the same scam was tried using cash.

Astonishing that people can cross all the ordinary barriers into handling crypto and not be able to spot a scam, but there’s a third reason people fall for them: effortless means of achieving huge returns are quite commonplace in crypto, and they all look like scams from a conservative point of view. A twelve year old asset class with >10, 000X returns? If you can believe that, would you be interested in a bridge to Iceland?
