Thank you for your videos, they are great! Here's my shoutout to the "big" guys. There is a big gap, and a need in the market for a high quality sound analog mixer with (min.) 8 in/outs, very good converters, and good in/outs to the external hardware. No need for build in (especially stripped versions) of effects-EQ-comp. They maybe good for live, but I am referring to studio rec./mix/mastering. A&H has good choices, but the Neve, SSL, Trident, API etc. start from 17-20K. A 5-6K unit with just (8 min.) in/outs, not even pre-amps more than 2, or 4 (we all have our gear, and like to be flexible), and maybe an additional ADAT in/out (for 500 series, Cranborne etc.) would have a ton of options for the user, and have the "highest" 3D sound. Basically a clean, high grade router, and AD/DA converter with ADAT (or USB) for a total of 16 channels would be a center piece. Thank you.

Jack please ask the folks at SSL to make a Rack version! I have a feeling that would do incredibly well. No faders all knobs, Dsub breakout connections on the back of the unit to save space, yet you get all the functionality.

What I would love to know is how to route output from the DAW into the SSL Big Six, use it as an analogue summing mixer with the G-series bus compressor, then route the output back to the DAW.

Make a video specifically how to setup a stem mix using 1-they 4 mono- and 5/6-7/8-9/10-11/12 channels from daw- then explain exactly how to record those stems post fader with eq- etc for later recall- back into the daw. And the big one simultaneously recording the stereo mix with. Master insert efx and anything else summed to main out back to daw. I use Mixbus32c as it has. Built in 12 mixbusses…perfect match- but confusing on routing grid inside Mixbus32c

I am right in thinking in this user case the reverb would not be printed in the logic track.

Can you please tell me how to send the talkmic signal to its own track for recording it?

Hi, nice video, one biig issue though, when using BIG 6 with Protools, either on windows or Mac, I must select main monitor output path to 15-16 channels so I can keep using 1 and 2 as super analogue inputs, while tracking in the same time ( listening) . BUT, once I do that, the Low Latency Monitoring from Pro Tools no longer works! Say if I want to record something from channel 1, if its output is set to 15-16, no LLM. If I change its output back to path 1-2, LLM works again...any solutions to this? Thanks a mil
