Have you made a new year's resolution before? Probably so. Have you ever completed it through to the end of the year? Probably not. So, this year, why don't you do something different instead of make a new year's resolution.

Working as a kidney doctor, I found that my patients were often unaware of just how important diet and lifestyle were and how often they felt unsupported by generic advice to “eat healthy”.

The home cook in me hated hearing this, so I set out to find a better way. I like your idea of daily intentions. New Year resolutions set us up for failure, largely because we bite off more than we can chew. But a daily intention (something we can chew up and digest in one small serving) can greatly help us along the path to the next day. Great idea, Dr. Blake!👍

Hi doc, just wanted to ask if you know about having largely varying creatinine levels? If everything else looks normal on blood work except creatinine. Being high one test and low the next, both outside of the reference ranges?
