This is one of my favorite times of the year. We have a lot of sharks and a lot of bait fish coming in our base systems hungry ready to eat so I try to capitalize on the situation and catch some big old sharks from the beach with spinning tackle. Thanks for watching and tight lines

Never caught a shark bigger then 24”. I’ve hooked some bigger spinners in South Carolina but wasn’t equipped for them. Great job Jack and best wishes going full time as a creater

Been watching a couple guys shark fish with 8500 spinning reels on a hefty surf rod and have been bringing in some big sharks!

These are the kinds of videos that make me want to surf fish every time I can! Just ordered an 8500 Penn Slammer IV paired with a 15' Ugly Stik Bigwater. Should be an incredible first set-up. I'm new so would love some feedback from someone with more experience if you have time. Here are my questions:

(1) How do you like the Penn Batallion II 12' with this setup? Any idea how that rod would compare with the Ugly Stick 15'?
(2) Any recommendations on which size braided line to use? I got 300 meters of Daiwa J-Braid (65-lb). The Ugly Stik is only rated for 30-50 lbs so wasn't sure if I should go any higher than 65 lb. I've heard closer to 120-200-lb braided may be better for larger sharks so may need to upgrade my rod in the future for the big boys.
(3) Any suggestions to my current tackle set-up? I'll be using 210-lb AFW Surflon wire (have heavier wire on order) and 400-lb mono with crimps and a snap swivel for a diamond or spider weight (3-6 oz for smaller sharks, closer to 10 oz for larger sharks). Thanks in advance if you see this comment.

That was sick man. I love that spot, got my Hammerhead there last year!
Question: which GoPro generation do you wear on your chest and with the media mod do you notice a drastic loss in battery life?
Thinking I need to get one for the new 11 I just bought. Your sound quality in this was outstanding
