Well, most of the tales series ended with sad ending. But since this is 25th anniversary, at least have happy ending

I was very much worried at first that they were going to continue the "inevitable tragedy despite it all" trope once again.
I'm very happy to see that this didn't happen!
Shionne and Alphen FINALLY kiss, I was worried they would keep teasing us about this forever lol.
This game gave me the same feeling that the disney movies of old gave me when I was a kid. That true feel good experience of a journey well worth the investment. The love aspect helped also. Great series and great walkthrough mate!

5th element ending, or in this case 7th. In conclusion very romantic.

breaking the shionne curse turned out to be very similar to the scene in the movie trunks killing the fusion zamasu

Vholran is psychotic human being. No way to convince. Every villain at the end they commit suicide to seem them despair. Others prefer to be broght back from the dead. Like Frieza. Nothing compare to Sephiroth. He's real monster than Vholran.

I gotta say, having beat the game myself and now watched a playthrough... I think I'm just extremely underwhelmed by the game.

Setting aside my biases for the tales series. Arise as a stand alone game isn't one that I'd play multiple times just for kicks... and it's not even like puzzles or cutscenes. Its the combat.

I love the IDEA of the combat system, but the fact majority of mobs and bosses make it feel like you're not actually making contact.. just kinda makes fights seem boring and drawn out.

And it sucks, because I really like the idea of a RPG actually saying "hey these two characters really are clearly meant to be." And then GIVING IT TO YOU at the end... I'm just annoyed that i don't like it more.

I feel like the story was better than Zestiria / Berseria... but just so much of this game felt mediocre to me. Despite all the things it did like call backs to the "great" tales games even the iconic "Impact cross"... all that fun nostalgia.. but it just feels almost "forced" or disingenuous. I dunno. Something felt off about it the entire time.

A bit cringy ending but I can forgive for now. I guess romance never die. It's good moral message to keep reproducing. LOL
