I have my OK button on my Nikon in playback set to zoom in 1:1 after a shot. This gives me instant confirmation that my focus is correct.

One reason I am so happy I have the 70d, the touch screen just keeps with the natural flow of things if you are used to having a smart phone.

Or step to the future and get a mirrorless camera that shows you what you are going to get before you even press the shutter and what really is in focus, no more missed shots and no more peeping the rear display for focus and not see what is happening around you. It really is awkward to loo! when photographer drops camera down to check focus or exposure, or even worse takes glasses on and then check rear display.
