Sir Akeboshi i just want you to know that your song Wind, is a very special song for me. In my college days we're i struggling financially while studying and working. Whenever i feel giving up i just listen to your song and feel great again. Until i finished my studies way back in 2010. And now i finished two courses, i'm a married man now, a business owner. I have a toddler now and also loves naruto. From the deep of my heart. Thank You Mr Akeboshi.

Wind is probably the best anime theme song ever. It had me in tears everytime i finished an episode of Naruto in college. Its crazy to read how so many people cried listening to this song. Glad i wasnt alone.

Wind gave a sensation that i felt for the first time with this intensity. I watched naruto when i was 6 years old, i had no friends, everyone that i tried to approach back then just didn't want to stay close to me and i was bad at school and studies in general. I felt represented by naruto, it was the first anime i watched (and liked) after all, and today i started watching it again, and got interested in making an entire playlist with intros and outros of the classic, and some minutes ago i was in my bed listening to wind and felt something that i dont remember feeling ever, i just got extreme nostalgic sensations, i unlocked memories of my younger self watching naruto and falling asleeping at the couch while listening to this outro, im crying right now. Thank you akeboshi, i didnt know your name until some days ago, but at the same time, you are a extremely important part of my life.

The first song he played is Haikyo no Sofa. it's one of the few songs that I carry with me deep in my heart.
I honestly got goosebumps when he started playing it, because this song seems to be his most personal one. Or why else would he start with it?

To me, this song is about his life abroad as a student and how life felt in the big picture.
I myself discovered Haikyo no Sofa when I lived abroad while doing university. Most of the people I met abroad seemed to be doing fine, careless, enjoying their freedom away from their country. I did enjoy it too, but I always felt like a bird in a cage. Which didn't make sense because I was free to do and be whatever I want. Hearing Haikyo no Sofa while going through those emotions in a foreign land liberated me from the burden of feeling like I have to escape.

Words can't describe how deep this song touched me. It's epically strange because I'm from Sudan, my culture is very different than the person who wrote the song. But the song still reached me. And for that, I'll always admire Akeboshi.
