Okay, so, yeah. We're just going to say it.

CS2 . . . kinda sucks.

Now, we're not saying it’s always going to suck or that Valve aren’t cookin’ up something big as we speak. But, right now, the game is in a bad place. Cheaters are running rampant, there is zero new content and the gameplay still feels suboptimal.

CS2 is floundering and the question is when will Valve fix it, and how?

I rarely write comments on YouTube, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Dimitri. He's the channel’s host who really excites me whenever he appears in a video, consistently keeping me engaged throughout the entirety of it. Dimitri is particularly entertaining and passionate about the game. You can tell he truly is one of us. He actually grinds the game, so he doesn't need to pretend or act like he cares – he genuinely does and knows a lot about it. Moreover, he manages to do this without being obnoxious or pretentious; he's just fun and cool. Keep it up, man!

There was a second update after the first one that included some anti-cheat changes, but they are small and will only affect a small number of cheats. Any competent cheat provider has already analyzed it and updated it accordingly. Valve is doing *something* but it's not much.

Man that update yesterday really hurt. I was practicing in a workshop map for some hours (i was at my job leaving the game open for periods of time) and then i see, after two weeks, that we have an update and i got hyped, but then i saw that it was 100mb and i died a little. I am not hyping myself again, when it comes, it's gonna be a nice surprise but it's not gonna find me expecting it.

I personally do not have much faith in them implementing fixes that will revive the fire to play like csgo had on everyone. if its taking them this long for extremely small updates to even show any consideration, it seems to me that they just dont have the want to make it good again.

Cs can never die, or at least will take a lot to kill. I'll also be back when they fix their crap. This is the first time ever I've outright quit cs since 1.6. I've stuck with cs through my primary school LAN days all the way but this is ridiculous and sad. The worst is the state of the anti cheat.
