Global analysis of waste in the context of COVID-19: Launch webinar

This hour long webinar describes a new WHO publication which quantifies the additional healthcare waste generated as a result of COVID-19, describes current healthcare waste management systems and their deficiencies, and summarizes emerging best practices and solutions to reduce the impact of waste on human and environmental health. The webinar, held on 1st February was attended by 400 people with speakers from WHO, R4H, UNDP, Health Care Without Harm, Global Fund and IFC.
