Canada vs. USA | 2025 Women's World Hockey Championship

Megan Keller's second period goal would hold up as the winner as the United States took over top spot in Group A. Laura Stacey got Canada to within one in the third, and almost tied it late, but couldn't finish as the team lost for the first time in the tournament.

I love this time of year....when the two top hockey teams in the world( men and women) fight for the gold....A heavy but phenomenal journey that these two teams go on!

Canada often concedes a game or two in these tournaments, but as long as they make it to the end, they win the important games. By contrast, the USA team, on a few occasions, goes undefeated, then loses to Canada in the finals. It's quite the seesaw series between the two best teams on earth. There's certainly a passionate rivalry, but there's also a lot of love. A few members of the US women's team married their rivals on the Canadian women's team.

This is for the people who like to criticize women's hockey and insist on leaving negative comments. If you don't appreciate these women who are playing a sport they love and enjoy, please keep your insults to yourself. We don't need your input if it's meant to bring us down. I for one look forward to these World it's mainly the same two who end up in the finals, but one year Canada got the Bronze, while I think at that time Finland got robbed of the Gold. If it wasn't going to be Canada, I was cheering for Finland. Oops, went off topic. Anyway, be a nice person or move along if you can't say anything nice or even positive about these videos. There's no need to spread your hatred, there's enough of that in this world. If you don't like it, don't watch it! Have a nice day, eh!

Canada looks close to being out classed. I think the US team is younger and empowers their younger players to push the pace and be aggressive. Canadas older players played well, actually very well, but Canada couldn't keep up with US hustle and energy. Looked like older team.

I, for one, am looking forward to the day that the United States and Canada don't finish in the top two. Because it's getting damn boring. Switzerland has a good team. Czechia has a good team. Finland has a good team. I want to see the USA or Canada get bronze and one of the other teams win. For a damn change. And I'm Canadian. It's unhealthy for the sport to see the two same teams win all the time. And it's boring 🥱

Looked like a pretty exciting game. I'm glad the US won, but I'm convinced that games shouldn't end when there's PP time could lead to a tying goal.

Gee, this is worse hockey than I watch down at the local arena with 12 year old boys, and the announcers are pathetic, this is an embarrassing mocking of a once proud mens sport, awful!
