What’s the point of taxes if the government is constantly handing tax breaks to large developers and corporations???

The government is elected by the people to represent the people. If the government doesn’t represent and protect the people and Puerto Rico, then they are violating their promises to those who elected them and should be replaced.

I had a boss who avoided taxes in the US bc he was taking advantage of a program in Puerto Rico that was supposed to boost their economy. He hired two ppl for $7/hr and saved millions.

The whole Caribbean is going through this. Please elect people that fight back. And fight back yourself or we'll be overrun by outsiders.

Always protect your land!!! Look at Cacun, Cabo en Mexico, they keep getting rich, while the people keeps losing their land, and stay poor.

La corrupción vive, política veneno de toda la vida. Aquí en esta tierra todavía hay gente sin agua, luz y haciendo malabares para pagar sus facturas diarias.

Why are PRs so undecided? Stick together, all of you, and demand independence and tell the outsiders to go back to their country.

We need to have a movement where the Puerto Rican diaspora is moving back to the island, investing in infrastructure, businesses, and protecting our natural resources. It would be nice to get people like Bad Bunny and A.O.C. to help spread the word and encourage such a movement.

Protection of natural resources is SUPPOSED to be protected by the PR constitution. But money always wins, flawless victory… “but the locals sold the land” And the government facilitates the violation of the constitution by ignoring the invasion of the natural resources. Bianca, please update us on the Mayagüez ex-mayor corruption case and how he offered half the town as collateral on a bad gamble. Thank you for the hard work.

Honestly PR is very underrated and underdeveloped. The little towns are ghost towns and completely run down so I don’t see bad in helping build up and pump some money into the island.

Great video! Ilived all my life in Dorado, and saw the development of all these mansions. I have no problem with people with money buying homes. But when you see the disparity and how there are no developments for the middle class, I get mad. Where will WE live? Which are our options? I love my town, but it has become a nest of Tesla driving foreigners, and the working class if obligated to conform to moving to other places and renting, because buying a good house here is damn near impossible!
