Why I shoot with the URSA Mini Pro G2

This definitely isn't a technical review. If you would like shots of charts and in depth analysis of the feature set, don't watch this video!

What's the perfect camera is an impossible question, but for me the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 is the one I am currently using. It has the resolution, dynamic range, colour science, codecs and ergonomics that suit my workflow the best. It also matches up with the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, making that a brilliant camera B (Or in our case, gimbal camera).

Great review! I think one of the biggest under-valued strengths of the G2 is how it renders motion, which of course comes from the much improved readout time. It's not a global shutter technically, but I haven't run into a situation where the rolling shutter was noticeable. To me, this is a big plus!

I know approximately 0 things about serious filming and pro cameras, and yet I found this very interesting. My tech background allowed me to understand most of it with your explanations, and you really make it interesting even tho it's just a review of a product I'll never use or would have been interested in in the first place.
