Back In The U.S.S.R. - The Beatles

In the coming years, this song will have lasted longer than the U.S.S.R. itself.

This was one of the 4 pesky straggler songs that I needed to dispute. Glad to have this banger viewable.

Fun Fact: Ringo Starr did not play drums on this song.

Probably the closest this game got for an all red tiered instrument song.

I’ve always loved seeing the fret’s “lights” just sliding across the fret board.

The classic one note solo long before I Wanna Be Sedated. Also this song should be red tier (no devils in this game), pretty chokable ngl.

The beginning of the "White Album" with "Back In The U.S.S.R"
A rock song from the Album and of course, in the 60s it was controversial.
According to Paul McCartney, he was inspired by the Beach Boys in his song: "California Girls" and of course Chuck Berry in his song: "Back In The U.S.A". 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
The song describes a bad flight from the United States to the Soviet Union aboard a British BOAC plane, and mentions the beauty of the Soviet woman, the sound of balalaikas, and the pleasure of returning to her own country.
An epic Rock N Roll song. 🤘🏻🤘🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Curious fact:
- Ringo doesn't play the drums on this song, it was Paul McCartney who played the drums on both instruments. It was the first time that Paul played the Drums in a song. 🥁🥁🥁🥁
Since he ringo, due to the bad moments of the band, he decided to go on vacation and rest.
- Due to the situation in Ukraine, Paul stops performing this song in his concerts, for of respect the Ukrainians. He decided to change the song on his setlist and today he currently sings: "You Never Give Me Your Money" or "I've Got a Feeling".

2:05 Somebody tell Paul that "guitar solo" doesn't mean a solo note.

This song really should’ve been tiered Devil Tier for all instruments. Considering how cool it is to see every song rated devil tier, and also considering the next song Dear Prudence was easier than Back in the USSR.

Always fun listening to Back in the U.S.S.R!

As mentioned in another comment, this song is a parody of Chuck Berry’s Back In The USA and The Beach Boys’ California Girls. Paul McCartney was Weird Al before Weird Al was a thing.

Another absolutely have to play this song when you fire this game up. This song is beyond incredible.

one of the very few songs i wasn't able to 5 star on guitar or bass. thankfully vox was much easier

It would’ve been funny if they had both Paul on Drums and Bass for this song’s background video

Yeah this song is tough even on medium and remembered that I barely squeezed a 5 star on it.
And I had a feeling that was one of the copyright problems for the game

One of two songs in the game that Ringo didn't play drums on. The other being Dear Prudence

Say, I don’t know if anybody noticed, but I think this is one of those songs where somebody other than Paul McCartney played the bass. I think in this case, it was John Lennon.

Nothing to do with the video, but it looks like your Rio video from Band Hero got blocked again :(

Yes, commenters, we know Paul drummed this because of tensions among the band.

Makes me wonder how this isn't a tier 6 but easy stuff like Octopus's Garden is? WTF Harmonix?
