My mom used to use a wheelchair. First thought I had while climbing into a black cab was how useful accessible cabs would be. Here in the US they do minivan conversions instead which are tough to use

Important: ONLY for manual Wheelchair users. This does not work for power-wheelchair users and this is incredibly important because when asking "is it Wheelchair accessible" the response is "yes" when it's actually NOT universally Wheelchair accessible. Universally Wheelchair accessible means for both manual and power wheelchair users. Please please please specify and pay attention to this! Thank you :)

Thank you so much for this info. Quick question: even if you transfer to a seat, will the driver strap in the wheelchair anyway (to stop it potentially flying around)?
