The Hidden City sounds quite fun - I'll definitely be interested to hear what you think of it! I've been meaning to try Daniel Abraham's own books since The Expanse is wonderful. I think I bought Shadow and Betrayal like two years ago and it has hence sat untouched on my shelf - as all the best books do.

Every time I watch your videos I end up with a page full of book titles lol! This is a good thing though! I wish I could join in with all the Robin Hobb praise but I have not yet read any of her books. I do plan to pick up some of her books soon. I was surprised that you did not care for Leigh Bardugo Six of Crows series as it was my favorite last year. For 2017 my favorites are Caraval (I fell completely in love with it), Strange The Dreamer, and Court of Thorns and Roses series! On the contemporary side I have really loved More Happy Then Not, History Is All You Left Me, and the Hate U Give. Currently I am reading Never Night! Love it and this is now my favorite adult fantasy. I will say that it took the first 100 pages to get into this book, and I also can see where some may be offended by the language used lol. The "C" word is used a lot through out the book but its a compliment in this world to be called it lol. Jay Kristoff writing is flawless and exquisite. I plan to read his YA books also.
