The government should make more of teaching cookery lesson, it's just as important as maths and english

You're feeding them bullcrap. Grow or raise as much food yourself as you can. Tear your lawn up and plant a nice kitchen garden.

Doctors have a responsability to warn people of the dangers of poor diets - yet they say nothing...

I remember a friend who eats only unhealthy processed foods, be it take aways, KFC, ready meals and canned foods. She wasn't even visibly obese or too overweight, just average, and is from a low income household too. It's such an incredibly unhealthy way of life and unfortunately I do believe there is a huge correlation between poverty/mental health issues and poor diet. Instead of shaming people for eating unhealthy, let's tackle the core issues, including poverty and mental health issues in our society. But I'm not holding my breath to see if the government will properly tackle these issues other than making a lazy advert "eat your 5 a day"

As a parent you have a full responsibility to make sure your child is getting the correct, healthy food from Day 1.
Nobody can honestly say that they didn’t know feeding a kid a McDonald’s is as good for them as a lean chicken and vegetable stir fry for example

I’m on a nutrition course and I’ve been asked to watch this video. Very interesting and informative. Thank you.

You might need new friends. Now that I eat healthy, everyone including my family thinks I am stuck up, paranoid, taking things too seriously. They feel judged when I decline certain foods that they are eating. It is socially very difficult to eat well. Also, I feel jealous of them. They spend way less time cooking and get to just eat whatever they feel like whenever they feel like it. Being around people who are eating all that stuff makes eating healthy really hard as well.

The average child in 1998 in the UK would be among the fittest today. Scary

The problem with society is that a sugary fizzy drink cost less than a healthy 100% natural fruit juice and we wonder why people are eating unhealthily 🙄🤔

I wonder what type of food is being served at the G7 meeting 🤔

But with this eat-whatever-you-want and-love-your-obesity philosophy, junk food is not bad if you accept your body. It seems quite obvious who's behind it: junk food companies!!

This is so interesting and it shines light and give you and understand on how this can effect your child's brain which inturn can have a very negative impact on their education, their learning. It makes you understand that as parents we are making our children's bodies ill from a very young age by not understand and not having knowledge of these simple things.

There is so much care when the professor and Chris refer as children and not kids toward the end. Warmth and love toward them stems from that very referral.
Start using those words and you will find that you will place greater emphasis on their wellness.

The addiction you experienced explains the surge in obesity and tells us to be kinder to "fat" people.

Then why we do not stop these food manufacturers? right? If those are not very very unhealthy.

The problem is this stuff is cheap and easy to get hold off and fruits or anything good for you is expensive. No idea how it works considering surly there is more work that goes in to processed food than organic food even tho I’m sure stuff advertised as organic isn’t actually organic in the traditional sense 🤔😂
