The three remaining candidates in the Tory leadership race - Robert Jenrick, Kemi Badenoch and James Cleverly - will be whittled down to two, after a final ballot of MPs. They will then go head-to-head in a battle to win the support of Conservative party members.

Felt like yesterday they all voted for sunak, he was the only one with 100 votes and then so soon after they decide they need a new leader. For stability you might as well keep the same person for a bit of time so at least you can say what the party stands for

I couldn't care less who the next tory leader will be, the tory party turned its back on its voter's. Labour is worse. I'll be voting Reform or Independent, and I'll make sure I know the voting record and background of anyone I'm considering in future.

In my opinion the Conservative Party and its members are so racist that they will not vote in the end for a black women, just as when the vote for Sunak or Truss they chose the weaker candidate in Truss, and I think her short time as leader shows that.

One thing I don't get is why do they chuck out a different leader so often. It's damaging to their party to play musical chairs. Each candidate says the same thing, they will help the cost of living, they will govern like Thatcher, they vow to defeat labour
At least for some stability keep the same person for a bit of time
