Something came to me listening to you, Gary Wilkinson. Is it possible that some of what you are struggling with is a deep sense of living up too a standard and an example of what a Godly man is? Growing up in the "shadow of your father." Not even that he condemned you but just witnessing all the things God did through him and the lives he touched and just being the example and nature expectations we can place on ourselves witnessing it so closely.
