Hey mates !
This is my version of the mighty "Song of Storms" from the Legend of Zelda and I tried to get a darker atmosphere than the original from the game, to better match with the background of this piece.

Original composer: Koji Kondo

I was heavily inspired by this version :

So I tried to give it better orchestrations, new parts & adding some personnal sauces.
This version was also made for a metal orchestral version with my friend Vincent moretto, check it out :

A lot of more stuff coming soon, stay close !

"Go around, go around, around and around, go around and around around! Huh? What's that? An ocarina? What could it hurt, hey kid, why not try playing this song?"

Oh you poor innocent man.

This rendition perfectly captures how it is in the game. It starts out as an innocent song that you find through an odd man and time paradox. As you go into the well and grave yard it descends into a dark madness. Culminating with a monster made from a man so evil they cut off his hands (thief) and head murderer).

This feels like a storm happening as you are inside a big mansion with an organ. I like how this song can change this up and make it loud without ruining the ambience like the trap remixes do.

Man. That was awsome. Badass version of Storms. Darker theme than the original. And I very like the backround.

Good grief ! I'm a naturally very calm person, but starting at 3:40 I felt like I could go to battle ! I'm in awe with the beauty of this

Oh man, this is just gorgeous. The slow build... the layers of instruments (duh, orchestra!)- it feels like someone battle weary picking dragging themselves up, trudging forward after going ten rounds and finding the courage (with the original melody tinkling) to go one more round and win the day! Just stunning work.

Absolutely love this all the way through! Surprisingly, I love the carnival section at the end, specifically when the beat starts in at 4:43

0:00 The morning sun rises.
0:13 The wind grows, slowly turning the sails of the windmill. The wind changes in strength all the time, growing stronger and weaker again and again.
1:34 The Phonogram Man enters the windmill. He plays the Song of Storms on his instrument.
1:54 Suddenly the wind gets strong and steady as it should be to keep the mill running. The Phonogram Man feels happy. He is highly respected in this town, since he is the only one capable of adjusting the winds to the town inhabitant's favor. Once or twice, rarely three times a day, he would have to enter the windmill to play the tunes which would provide the power for this town to survive. He took pride and was happy with this easy task, since he was able to do as he pleased for the rest of the day, while everyone else had to do hard work to get their share of food on the table.
2:34 Suddenly, a child with a green hat appears and wants to learn the tune on a little blue ocarina. With a smile on his face, the man teaches the kid the correct notes, thinking, this little ocarina could never ever do much harm.
3:02 The kid plays the notes on his blue ocarina effortlessly on the first try, with perfectly clean tunes and such harmony, like no one ever before.
3:21 Flabbergasted, the man witnesses the song echoing through the sky, as if the heavens themselves respond to the angelic innocent tunes of the little kid's blue ocarina.
3:38 Suddenly, never seen before powers of the winds unleash against the windmill's sail. The mill turns faster and stronger than ever before. Never has the man thought, such powers could occur. The man tries to adjust the strength of the winds with his own instrument, but his phonogram stood no chance against the god-like powers of the Ocarina of Time and all his efforts were in vain.
4:14 With a loud bang, a lightning bolt strikes the windmill and creates a huge mess. The storm ends immediately afterwards. Angry and perplexed, the man scolds the child for what he did to his windmill. But the kid has already left.
4:20 Now the windmill wouldn't work at all if he should ever stop playing the song, leaving the Phonogram Man no other option, than to play the song all day and every day to keep the town sustained.
