John Fogerty’s guitar guitar was usually tuned down a full step to D, while his brother Tom played in standard tuning
. That’s where that Creedence swampy sound comes from .❤

I play it with a capo on 3. Still mostly open chords but I find it makes the key change to C easier. Great job as always!

CCR was the ultimate garage band, when they hit the scene my god we went gaga insane over them, a lot trashed John for his lead work and i for one still believe it is second to none, his playing is imperfectly perfect
