How One MHS Student Rebounded After Setbacks—Milton Hershey School

Katelyn, a ninth-grade student, shares her authentic Milton Hershey School experience. During her eighth-grade year, things were hard. She faced challenges like homesickness and not wanting to be at the school. She’s not the only student who experiences these feelings. Living away from home can be hard for many students, but the resources and opportunities Milton Hershey School provides make possible a brighter future. On top of that, Milton Hershey School staff, including principals, teachers, houseparents, and trusted adults, rally around to support students and make sure they receive wraparound care.
