Nike hit the jackpot with these sneakers.
The build and the color forces you to replace them pretty frequently.
And they’re not cheap.

I have two pairs so I have a replacement pair in case anything happens. They don’t get out much but I wear them on special occasions and they’re still stupid clean. I’m not a sneaker-head (more of a watch guy) but I do my best to take care of them. Definitely my favorite sneaker I’ve owned for its simplicity and longevity.

I never understood why people had bummy af laces on their shoes. It’s like $2 for a new pair of laces and they have them in most supermarkets. Just replace them.

I don't get the "Uh ah, my sneaker is creasing" - hysteria. Its leather, it creases and its natural and beautiful.

im new to the sneaker game but idk why people care about creasing so much. shoes are meant to be worn its kinda like not driving your car cause you don't want to fuck up your nice brand new wheels. Great video game

i bought my AF1's used at a garage sale for 2 dollars roughly 6-7 years ago. they're still holding up

Depends how you take care of them if you clean them at least once a week as a routine and you use crease protectors and use a shoe tree to keep that shape then you should be fine after a year

I bought a pair in Aug 2023 and I wear them sometimes 2-4 times a week or sometimes 2-3 times in two weeks. It just depends on what's going on in my life and how often I dress up, when I'm not wearing them I stuff them with some kind of clothes to help them keep shape, I also just use basic laundry detergent (like gain or any oxy powder) to keep them clean, and it works well. I'd say I've put my shoes thru alot in the time I've had them and I've kept them in pretty good condition. I mean they still creased it's gonna happen and there's no way around it. But overall I agree this is an amazing sneaker especially if you have more than 2 pairs of shoes in your rotation. I wear slides 75% of the time so those get most of the beating and I consider these more as dress shoes, but I still play basketball in them just cause they feel great on the court.

Never had a pair of AF1’s. don’t think I ever will. They look really god DS but the minute they start to look worn, they look absolutely terrible
