Merry late christmas! As an alternative way to celebrate the holidays on my benchmarking channel, let's test CS:GO on Intel HD Graphics, as it's popular, E-Sports and stuff like that, and is quite broken optimization-wise compared to how it was a few years ago, according to what I've heard. And I gotta say, it actually runs quite well here. Quite well for a casual player like me, but for a competitive player, well... Given that you have to lower the resolution quite a bit to get a 60+ FPS experience almost all of the time, I'm not so sure... CS:GO is a game where you DO want as much FPS as possible if you want to be "competitive", and I don't think zWORMz Gaming, or any of the aim-botters from the countries of Russia and Ukraine, would be happy playing at 640x480. But hey, at least this is better than the 5 FPS I got with the crappy Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15IBY whose processor is worse than a Mobile Core 2 Duo from 2006! :D

BTW, I suck in this game!

Laptop 💻 model: Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN 80WK 🔥 :
🔵 CPU: Intel Core i7-7700HQ - 4 cores and 8 threads; up to 3.80 GHz, 6 MB L3 Cache; 45 W TDP; Kaby Lake microarchitecture; Undervolted by -100 mV via ThrottleStop
🔵 Integrated GPU: Intel HD Graphics 630 - 4 GB of shared memory; 24 shaders; 1100 MHz burst frequency (for the i7-7700HQ); DirectX 12.1, OpenGL 4.6 and Vulkan support
✔️ Dedicated GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile (we don't care about it in this video)
🔶 RAM: 8 GB Single-Channel DDR4 2400 MHz
⬛ Boot drive: 1 TB 5400 RPM Seagate ST1000LM035-1RK172 HDD (it doesn't have an SSD)
⬛ External drive: 1 TB 5400 RPM Silicon-Power SP PHD U3 HDD
🔷 OS: Atlas OS 20H2

I want to add an SSD and perhaps another stick of 8 GB RAM to it sooner or later, when I have the financial opportunity.
