Vertx Commuter 2.0 Sling modification

Hi Guys,
just found myself getting annoyed with the Sling setup on the Vertx commuter 2.0. This is just a little update on it and an easy fix, that only took 10 minutes and for it improves the ergonomics tremendously.

Although I understand what you did and why, I think you are missing the main purpose of this bag. The idea is that, when slang crossbody and over your head, you can grab the bag and twist it around to your front, so that you can draw firearm from the rear section. Carrying the bag in the way that you describe after your modification makes this not possible.

I do agree though, having the clip on the higher section does make some sense, but the primary method of carrying, when utilized with a firearm, would still be the crossbody and over the head.

I like mods. I have maxpedition octo that I want to relocate the main buckle from the middle, closer/adjacent to the main body.

I think they are selling an idea without that much thought in it -- Pacsafe bags are designed for anti-theft and security... vertex bags have none of that functionality, slash proofing, etc. The last thing you want is for something in that bag to get stolen.
