Because of the nature of your repair (intermittent with several, possible causes) we’ve given you a conditional diagnosis. This is to save you money on possibly unneeded treatments. How?
For example, there may be 3 possible things causing your issue, in which case you have two options.
ONE. If time is a concern, we could do all 3 things now and guarantee your computer would be ready as soon as they were complete. This could mean we replace something that may not need replacing, but will mean you get it back sooner.
TWO. If money is more of a concern, we can do the most likely procedures now, test it (which might mean you take it home for a few days) and if that doesn’t work proceed to the next step. The disadvantage is that you may need to get us to do further repairs and if so there will be further cost.
