Doom 2: decino_puzzle.wad UV-Speed (8.60s)

Being the one who led decino to discovering the "Chainsaw having no knockback" quirk, I had to do something. And so, I decided to speedrun the map. This is nowhere near a first try, I did grind for a bit, and I seem to have pulled off a pretty solid run.

Very impressive! And thanks for showing that chainsaw quirk, it really blew my mind yesterday.

ohhh I get it. If you switch to the chainsaw the game replaces the plasma bolts knock back with the chainsaws 0 knock back. Then it's just vodo doll mechanics. as per decino's video where monsters don't attack because you have zero health but the game didn't properly flag you as dead so you can still move.
