ASMR Vogue Magazine Flip Through May 2024 Zendaya on the cover
Показать описание
Hi there, let’s flip through the May 2024 edition of Vogue today. This will mean we go into mini-time machine mode at this point as we are well into August! Oh well, better late than never.
The beautiful Zendaya graces the cover in a spectacular Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda Rose dress. She is featured in the main photo shoot wearing various designers including custom Louis Vuitton and Jean Paul Gaultier for Simone Rocha. She is looking into her future and contemplating a move to the director’s chair.
There is a great article on the preppy trend coming back with a nostalgic look back to the 1990s from the author’s eyes (Plum Sykes).
A large portion of the magazine details the Sleeping Beauties exhibition at the Met, which is free with admission to the museum through September 2. Elizabeth Debicki models some of the collection, again photographed by Steven Meisel. So much of it is inspired by nature and just breathtaking for spring.
Kendall Jenner is gorgeous in an LA park, modeling leg baring choices for summer.
John Galliano’s Maison Margiela couture is beautifully photographed by Steven Meisel with an accompanying story by Hamish Bowles.
I have the Chanel ad Brad Pitt and Penelope Cruz to thank for transporting me away if only for a millisecond from my Midwestern homemaking woes. I am grateful for that!
Two artists are featured, Anna Park with her drawings and Jeremy Frey with his baskets woven in the tradition of his Passamaquoddy grandparents. He will have a show in Chicago in the fall.
Lena Dunham has a great piece about trying mega long fingernails during the writer’s strike. There are articles on the hot summer books, side parts versus center parts, and wellness patches.
Two Broadways plays are covered, both of which are no longer running, Mary Jane and Uncle Vanya. We can learn about them and decide if we might go see a local production of each should the opportunity present itself. Both get a yes from me.
And of course, the ads. Thank you for watching!
