How To Start An Affiliate Program With Shopify (2019)

Hey everyone, in this video I will be showing you, step by step how to create an affiliate program for your Shopify store. Having an affiliate program for your store is a great way to get influencers, bloggers and anyone with an audience to begin promoting your products and increase your stores sales.

If you run a dropshipping store, you can use an affiliate program to onboard instagram and youtube influencers and encourage them to promote your products with the incentive of a commission.

It is a simple process to create an affiliate program with Shopify, so watch through and create your own. I create a video like this last year, however I thought I'd make an updated version for 2019!

Great video!! How do you account for the money paid out to affiliates when filing taxes? Does the money paid out to affiliates get claimed as a marketing/promotional expense or does the money paid to affiliates get reported as an independent contractor when filing?

if an affiliate gets a user to purchase, does this mean the affiliate can earn commission every time the buyer returns to make a purchase. but without using the affiliates coupon code or link. so basically there account is attached to the affiliates once the original link has been used. thanks great video
