Hmm, three amazing lessons in movie marketing for people who actually care about the movies they make - (1) a good thumbnail will get lots of clicks (2) a bad trailer can make an average film look terrible and a great trailer can make a shitty film look amazing - WORKSHOP YOUR TRAILER before you release it; (3) if the image in the thumbnail is not in the trailer (or the movie) - people feel cheated and are going to click on the “do not show stuff from this channel anymore” button. Let people judge the quality of your film AFTER they see it, not before.
