Last night was about as near-perfect of a Smackdown as you could get. Chelsea Green advancing in the Women's US title tournament is the only choice. They also managed to find a way to keep Bianca strong and add a new storyline. Montez shined in singles action as we saw the collapse of DIY. Santos and LA Knight was a good night, but it's all about the build-up of Nakamura vs LA Knight. Nakamura looks great in this heel persona. Cody and KO's promo was fire and it's funny because in some ways KO feels justified and Cody looks like the heel. The Women's tag match was the weakest part of the night, just because of how rushed this whole Women's WARGAMES feels. Finally and the best part of the night. The Massive Pop for Paul Heyman with the "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!" and another insane pop for CM Punk. Yes. We all thought this should have been 4v4, but WWE somehow made this even more worth talking about. Also fitting 1 year after returning to the WWE Punk is now in WARGAMES. This is now the most talked about thing in wrestling.

I see the reasoning for one set of titles between the brands but would you agree that it gives the title holders more time to hold the belts? Less matches defending them but still having matches (the champions) and having other teams wrestle for the #1 contender spots also gives time for storylines to brew and evolve.
