I could not agree with you more. I had a 2016 Tundra TRD Pro Crew Cab in quick sand. The only reason I sold it in 2020 was to purchase the last Tundra TRD Pro with a V8 which of course is the 2021 model. I purchased the Lunar Rock Tundra TRD Pro Crew Cab. I sold the 2016 for about what I purchased it for and probably could have got more in 2021; however, no complaints as the 2021 is an absolute gem. The 2016 lacked Apple Car play and the exterior upgrades (e.g. RIGID fog lamps etc). The real collector item for this truck will be the largest back seat and combined with a full roll down window and of course the V8 which will never be made again. My dog could not be happier with the conditions of the back seat. It will be a while before I can take on the 4th gen Tundra given the lack of V8 and small back seat (including the battery pack which my dog will not enjoy). I am hoping the Trail Hunter edition might provide some hope of a truck worthy of the next purchase. Until then I will enjoy as long as I can.

Thanks for your channel. Love the content! I’ve only owned Toyotas. 9 to be exact…including multiple generations of Tundras, Tacomas, and currently a LC. Traded my 23 Tundra crewmax for the LC. Just too big of a change and Toyota wouldn’t fix the wind noise that a handful of 3rd Tundra owners were struggling with. All that to say…I finally found a unicorn. You guessed it…2021 Tundra TRD Pro DC! I live in Texas, and found the truck in Ohio. Just flew up there and drove it home. Had 36k miles on it. Paid $48k. Smoking deal in my humble opinion. On the trip home I put some 295/70/r18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on it. No rubbing at all. You’re absolutely right…this truck is the most memorable Tundra for me. I’ve owned a TRD Pro in the past, but this truck is something special. The 6.5’ bed just puts the dimensions right where they should be for my eye. Let me know how to send pics!

I got a 2021 DC TRD sport with leather. Closes thing to the trd pro in a DC that was not available to order in 2021. Hood scoop, trd sway bar's, almost same interior.

My 20 TRD OR has quite a few of the things you mentioned. I have heated seats, push button start which is a double edged sword, has the 8 inch screen, Android Auto/Apple car play, and I like the electric rear window slide. The best part is the V8. I am sure the V8 will become a real collectors piece in the future.

When I was waiting for allocations for my 21 lunar rock pro I ended up passing on the the double cab and waited for the crewmax. Come to find out a few months later they didn't make very many compared to the crewmax that year.

I'd say the 2020 army green Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is more sought-after than lunar Rock. Calvary blue and Voodoo blue are also desirable
