This was very helpful But, my cat just had some teeth pulled and I am afraid opening her mouth as Instructed may be painful. Is there another way to open her mouth? Thanks for the video!

hank you very much for this video. My cat had a dental operation a tooth removed. But they left some bits of the roots and now it is all inflamed and infected there where the tooth used to be, plus some ulcers appeared on her tongue too. 😢 I was told to put dentihex adhesive medication on the inflamation, but it is right at the back of her mouth bottom jaw. Can you please make a video on how to apply dentihex on their gumline when it is very far back on the bottom. Many thanks. 🙏

Oral buprenorphine isn't nearly as effective for severe pain from post-op surgery if it's administered directly down the throat to guarantee its all swallowed. It's absorbed through mucus membranes such as gums, insides of cheeks and under the tongue. My poor little cat is about to become extremely agitated with

I was never even able to hold my cat in one spot for that long, let alone while forcing her mouth open and messing with her gums... 😬
Now the vet has sent me home with 8 (EIGHT!!!) of these.
I hope I don't waste them all as they fly into the air when my cat squirms herself free and sprints away... They cost me $90+. 🤦‍♀
