Larry, with each of your videos, I go from being not hungry to starving in about 3 minutes. LOL The burnt ends looked incredible. I gotta try that.

Oh hell yeah Larry. That looks killer brother. My goodness. Who needs to pay $60 for a brisket when you do the same thing with a chuck roast? Not me. This rocks. Great job Larry

That's awesome! With the price of brisket more people will be doing this! I know I will! Rock On!

Vinegar and the Texas toast were nice touches, Larry. Another fantastic video, Sir! Two thumbs up.

Those burnt ends were tender as my heart Larry!!! Time to dig in!!

looks good. I am learning from the Americans to use sauces on the BBQ. Where I am from it is mainly spices and the grill then the plate. So thanks for teaching a Northern Canadian cook that sauces do not have to be nasty. :)

Oh Larry, this sounds like a WINNER! We were talking about this tonight and we definitely are going to try this. :) (by the way, we smoked ribs this weekend and your rub was a HIT!)

I've never had Burnt Ends and no more access to a pit so am thinking about trying to do it in a VERY slow oven. It will not be the same, but better than I have right now.
Thank you so much

What a great idea! No reason a chick wont work like brisket, and you showed how. Delicious! Nicely done, Larry.

Bought a chuck roast today. Going to try this tomorrow. I can`t afford a brisket these days. I remember in the early 90`s they used to go on sale for 99 cents per pound.

Looks great, bet it tastes great too.

You would get more bark if you were to slice it into strips before smoking. This will allow more smoke penetration and a quicker cook.

There is a place in Lexington that puts their burnt ends in their bbq and its 100% better than any bbq I have ever had in 15 years in NC

Just did this with a Boston butt, but that chuck is good idea 👍🍻
