I nervously brought inside a feral cat that I'd seen in the neighborhood for months. He behaved the same way. He had zero desire to go outside. I could leave my front door open and he'd just stand by it, saying the same thing "nope, not going out there again". I had him for 12 years. He did seem smarter than other cats I had and I'd tell people that he has "street smarts". Great cat.

As someone with a former feral they are forever grateful to be in a warm safe home. My Josie has been with us since 2018 and was a TNR that was fixed in 2011. She is the queen of the house and her 3 fur brothers love her.
