Xperia 1 VI vs Samsung S24 Ultra Camera Comparison!

Sony is a known brand for photographers, but does it translate to better cameras on the Xperia phones? This video is focused on the comparison of the Sony Xperia 1 Mark VI to a more mainstream Android flagship phone which is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra! Photographers want realistic and natural pictures. Not an artificial picture. Am I right?

As a photography enthusiast, Xperia is way better than Fake looking shots from Samsung or other devices in the market. I like the colour science of Xperias which is flat with no curve in colour spectrum and its very easy to edit as per my own taste. After editing results will blow other smartphones out of the park.

The woman looked "not as pale" on the s24, which many people will prefer, but you looked way better on the xperia compared to s24. That s24 shot was just not it.

I don't understand the settings people use when they do these videos. My Xperia 1 V takes better pictures than my wife's s22 ultra on 95% of pictures and I am certainly no photo pro. I had a S23 ultra and switched to Xperia phone and it takes better pictures than my S23 ultra did as well. So I don't get how all these YouTube videos claim Samsung is better. If I could post pictures on here to show people I would

I was fed up with the forced and very aggressive post processing, the illogical battery drain in many apps and finally the random heating (which got uncomfortable when I had the phone in my pocket) on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, so that I decided to give the Xperia 1 VI a shot ... Yeah, the Screen and the telephoto Zoom is inarguably better on the S24 Ultra, but I fell in love with the battery life, the Overall performance, the haptics and the natural looking photos of the Xperia I VI ... In the end, it is a personal preferences, but I think that Samsung partly overpromises in certain key features and undelivers, which is Not very trustworthy at all. Especially at that price Tag, this is very disappointing...

Mine gets warm too. I recently did a throttle test on my S24 Ultra and my S22 Ultra. I ran the test for 10 minutes at 100 threads. I was surprise to see that the 8 Gen 3 in the S24 Ultra throttled way worse than the 8 Gen 1 in the S22 Ultra. The S24 Ultra got much hotter and finished the test throttled down to 62%, while the S22 Ultra only throttled down to 82%.

Hi! I mostly like the Xperia better, yes it's not very zoom oriented which is a bit of a shame, but I'm still glad I traded my s24 ultra for the Xperia 1 VI. I mostly don't like the camera of the s24 ultra and its color gamut has become terribly bad and wrong, most of the photos are too artificial for me, and in addition, it is constantly hot and the battery has immediately become particularly bad. I no longer have a galaxy s24 ultra and now I have a very high quality Xperia 1 VI Khaki Green! Thank you, this video was very valuable, I had the same results with s 24 ultra and sometimes even worse photos, yellow-oranges and greens were always such a toxic shade. I don't know what happened to the s24 ultra but I'm not the only one who had/has all sorts of problems with this phone! The Xperia is still very good and the battery still lasts really long and the color gamut of the camera is still wonderful.

Recently Samsung phones skin tone has become horrible like iphone, completely avoid Samsung and iphone if you want to look good in photos. Vivo phones are the best for that.

I noticed you were using photo mode. did you use the Pro mode thats how you ment to use Sony. If you use the pro mode in Samsung vs Sony the samsung in my my testing fell apart as it needs the AI so much

I am trying to choose between sony s24 ultra and honor magic 6 Pro and I am struggling. Today I checked the Sony and the s24 ultra side by side... And to be honest I liked the Sony cameras more. Even the display of the Sony that was my biggest concern was fine. If you had to pick one which one would you choose?

So, for me, basically they are on par, but the Samsung uses a lot more software tweaks for the average user to get "good" photos while the Xperia leaves more room for editing. I will get the Xperia, as a photo enthusiast and professional photographer I am really looking forward to use it "every day" and see how it does.
