Ferrari's GENIUS Sidepod Design

These sidepods look bizarre! Ferrari are clearly doing something weird here - and so we had to make a quick video going over it!

Ferrari have done something very different from the McLaren and Aston Martin that were released last week. They are sending the exhaust air from the radiators through the beam wing on the back of the car - very clever!

Even as a diehard Red Bull fan, I have to say this Ferrari looks absolutely stunning. I absolutely love what they have done with the sidepods, at least aesthetically. The colour scheme is perfect, so much better than last year's. I hope we have a great fight this season.

I love it how there's so much variation in how the teams have approached the new rules. Hopefully there isn't one solution which works much better than all the others so everyone just copies it and we end up with all the teams having essentially the same car

I always think the sad thing for engineers is that every year we go through all the different cars and say 'isn't this amazing!', 'Ooh this'll be a game changer!!' and every year 7 or 8 teams are well off the pace if the top 2 or 3 teams. Oh to be a cutting edge engineer.
