Très bonne présentation de ce Rack Extension. J'ai particulièrement apprécié aussi ton historique de Korg en plus de tes diverses comparatifs entre le Rack Extension et le VSTi ! Prochaine étape ? Comparaison entre le Rack Extension et l'original ! Hihi ! Très bon boulot Mathieu !

What bothers you ? MG (modulation generators) are simply variable waveform LFOs, one is linked to the arpeggiator (MG2), and the other is connected to various parameters (pulse width, freq mod...) but you can link these to whatever you want with the virtual patch section.

Il y a notre ami américain Marc Doty qui a fait une petite review de l'orginal ici : " The Korg Monopoly (part 1) "

Intended to be a humorous answer but whatever (my bad, should've use a smiley)
Yeah, I'll add "French" at the end of the title but I won't change the word "review" as the literal translation has a slightly different meaning and we honestly don't have the same word in French, and I didn't want to use a bunch of articles to extend the title.
Anyway, french people often use english words to search on YT so...
And soon, even english speaking fellows will be able to watch my videos with CC.

(CC) That'd be great... cause this Mono/Poly is kinda confusing me :P Particularly the "MG" modulation parameters.

Have a nice day√

Avis aux amateurs : si vous voulez m'offrir l'original, je me ferais un plaisir de vous le comparer à la Rack Extension ! :p

What a silly response! :[

Look, I'm not trying to start a fight... but that is a really lame excuse.

The words "review", "Rack" & "Extension" are English.

All you had to do was add ( Français ) if you wanted to title it in English... but truthfully:

"Revue de Korg MonoPoly Rack Extension ( Français )"
...would have been your best bet. ( ...er what ever, je ne comprends Français. Your English, however is very good )

Anyway, have a nice day & keep posting :]

Yeah,

but the only thing is... if you title it in French, no one will assume it's narrated in English :]

Using an English title is inappropriate for a video narrated in any language other then English.

Je l'ai visionné lors de ma partie recherche, j'étais tombé dessus depuis Vintage Synth Explorer

Maybe, but YT is already crowded with english vids and I too often deplore the absence of good french vids. And working in my native language is not only logical, it's easier to work quickly.
But I'll consider overdubbed translations like my colleague francolamuerte with his Arturia series.
It's a shame that subbing directly on YT is such a pain.
BTW, Korg could have done vids on this Rack Extension ! ;)

Because there are other languages on earth, not only english !
By the way, this video is done for a french-spoken community around Reason so it's in french. I admit I should have used the french word rather than the word "Review" in the title, my bad
But I'm sure english-speaking fellows must have done similar videos, maybe not that extensive, but the essentials must be covered.
If you have specific questions, I can help you but for the time being, I can't translate the whole video.

You make really nice high quality videos, you would get more hits if you made them in english.

Not my fault if the world "Review" is used in French as a neologism !

@Caalamus, If you didn't find a decent english video, I finally finished (CC) for this one !

thank you very much. Very detailed teaching, this is one of my favorite synthesizers, and now I finally know how to use it.
