No two singers are ever going to sound the same. Iced Earth has had many singers over their lifetime as a band, but each singer has brought something new and unique to the band and for Stu I think he definitely brings the forth the old Heavy Metal themes back instead of just sounding strictly like Judas Priest. Does he sound like Matt? No. Does he sound like Tim? No. But credit where credit's due mates, he still sounds amazing.

I know that Matt will always be considered the classic vocalist for Iced Earth but Stu really is a great replacement. I love both Dystopia and Plagues Of Babylon a lot and Stu really does an incredible job on all the classic Iced Earth songs. I listen to this live album as much as I do Alive In Athens. Both of them are just amazing live albums and even Festivals Of The Wicked is amazing. As long as Jon Schaeffer is in Iced Earth the band will always keep going.

Listening to "Wolf"... Holy fuck! That BEAST that is Brent Smedley... not only does he nail Richard Christy's insane parts, he does it with his own flare of... menace! So much respect for this drummer!

This was a flawless performance by the band, and epic crowd! You can see why they film the DVD there. Wish they played more encore though, wanted to hear Travel in Stygian, Jack, and the Something Wicked trilogy... it's tough when you have so many great songs to make into one set
