Your English was perfectly fine! In fact, it was better than most people who use it as their first language.

First, yes it is. You have to install it inplace of the standard GUI, but it's available. Second, he expressly stated that he was using a VIRTUAL MACHINE, so you're going to see winblows in the background. Third, aside from needing to the lsb package on ONE install, this tutorial worked perfectly for two different installations. and even then, he probably already had the lsb for something else, since i did for other stuff on my first install.

My man. Well done. It is well explained, simple and to the point.

Helpful tip....

Instead of typing the entire path just type something like "cd /root/Desktop/logme[tab]"
Linux will fill in the rest for you (provided you have permission to read it)

I believe pretty much all recent versions of linux have the [tab] autocomplete feature

yeah, just as others say, you gotta get the lsb files from your Software Center, then it'll work. thanks a lot, man but i'd still like to know how you got the gui on there. or is that through wine?

@VilaTalismanBrasil how are you running a 64 bit for personal use? I thought 64 was made for servers not personal use

use the sudo additive to the start, it will allow you to run the command as root to do the installation

@VilaTalismanBrasil You only have to install the lsb package with the synaptic package manager.

How do you make your user, for example, mine is called Christian (as that is my name). How do I make Christian able to use the terminal in root.

Sadly, you are correct oh magical typing pony. Most people with English as there first language need to have an interpreter to tell us what they are saying, where as I understand most people with English as their second as though they actually, you know, grew up speaking it.

There is an easier way! Open ubuntu update manager of 11.10 then update everything. Now on the hamachi download page download the .deb file. And click on it this should take you to ubuntu software center. Now install it and enjoy :)

@ZariusCorten i was replying to someone who was obviously confused about the gui running in windows. The guis available for linux are all third party and are no official. Please look at context before jumping to conclusions.
