When i was 2, i wandered off in a mall. Apparently when they shut the mall down to find me a lot of bystanders got involved in trying to find me. It wasnt anything like this, but my mom was panicked past the point of reason and she vividly remembers a stranger shaking her by the shoulders and yelling "What was she wearing?!" Snapping her out of her panic. I was eventually found hiding in a JCPennys and a woman tried to pick me up (to bring me to my mom, not to kidnap me) and i screamed because i had a very healthy sense of stranger danger and my response was always to scream at the top of my lungs. My mom heard that immediately recognized it was me. I think it actually traumatized her a bit because when my brother was little he had a tendency to wander off not realizing where he was (he's autistic) she bought a backpack with a leash for when we went on trips.

I remember I was playing off with the kids at my cousin's wedding and my mom couldn't see me because I was laying down and it was dark. They had a DJ system and the dude said my name (a simple Savannah) in the most slurred way possible, i literally thought "ah, that's not me, must suck for that kid" before eventually heading back. My mom was still pissed at that moron, she was a few minutes from calling the cops.
