What I Bring to an Anime Convention [ Pack a Con Backpack with Me ]

Pretty soon anime conventions and comic cons will be back in full swing for the cosplay and EGL communities. This means we'll need to get back in the habit of packing a backpack or a purse filled with all the goodies we'll need to bring with us in order to make it through a successful con weekend.

Whether this is your first ever anime convention or a seasoned pro at conventions, I think we could all use a refresher and what to and not bring with us in our bags. So I hope that me being able to pack a backpack alongside you helps you to remember to pack those extra wig bags and that emergency tide stick. Let's not forget to pack anything too important this con season!

I said this in the video, but I also just want to say again here: please be safe this summer and the months following. Protect yourself and protect others. Remember everything we have learned this past year. I know it's so exciting to get to cosplay at anime cons again and to see your favorite cosplayers, your friends, your celebrity idols, etc, but we need to put safety first and foremost.

I'd just like to say from my experience bring as little as possible, especially if you're in cosplay as well as wearing the bag.

If its too heavy, that on top of cosplay is no fun.

Easiest way to pack it down is just bring less of each item, you don't need a full sized bottle of 3 different pain killers and a whole thing of hair ties. Bring small travel bottles and a little case for hair ties, bobby pins, safety pins, etc.

Ibuprofen is always a must like even if you think you cant power through the pain just take it because it might get worse and like it doesnt just block pain it actually does help with inflammation that might be causing said pain. Dont feel like you're weak for taking it. You're not weak, you're smart.

I forgot to bring pads to the convention last year and i saw somebody left pads on the counter top...honestly that small act saved my entire day :P (sorry for the TMI haha)
