The UP is one of the most beautiful places in the country. Straight untapped nature. Can’t wait to go back up this summer. Thanks for the vid

I spent four years in college up there. Believe me, you have just scratched the surface.

Stationed there in the air force 1976-77. The whole Keewanaw is a dream trip for amateur geologists and nature lovers. Winter is challenging. All seasons have their own charm.

I've been to these areas and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Michigan's U.P. is a different world. The natural beauty of Lake Superior and it's rocky shoreline is incredible. The Monastery with fresh baked goods, jams and snacks is worth the trip on it's own. St Johns Greek Catholic Monastery just outside Eagle Harbor on Lake Superior...absolutely BEAUTIFUL

The U.P. is awesome. The Keweenaw Peninsula is the Awesome-est of the awesome! The fact that Isle Royale is part of Keweenaw County closes the deal!

Years ago, at the top of the Brockway Mountain Drive, there used to be a small gift shop/weather station; the Lake Superior side of the parking area had a couple of pay-to-use 25¢ binoculars, for viewing the ore ships and Isle Royale. The monastery's bakery is called The Jam Pot.

Great video guys! Da whole U.P. is beautiful and fun. But the Keweenaw is the crown jewel.

There's also a nice little waterfall (Jacob's Falls) right next to the Jam Pot so you can get a two for one on that stop.

I am 75 years old…have gone to Devils Washtub since I was a kid, the splendor is when the lake is angry then water churns and churns and blows out the top. Worth finding!

Thank you so much. My daughter moved to Calumet, MI two years ago, so my son and I are planning to drive from south Texas to Calumet Sept 1st. I can't physically do the hiking, but thanks to y'all I now know a few other places I can visit. Again, thank you.

The Devil's Washtub is "just a hole" when the lake is calm, but when the waves are thumping, it's like a geyser. Unfortunately, you were there when the lake was sleepy. And to be persnickety, it's not the northernmost point of Michigan. That's another 50 miles north on Passage Island. But true, it's the northernest on the mainland.

There is SO much to do up in Copper Country. And not like anywhere else in the country.

The general store as you pull into copper harbor is an awesome place to stop! Upper store has old fashion candies! Trinkets, and beautiful gifts the lower store has ice cream! Handmade fudge in many flavors! And also a gift shop stop in and say hi to barb!

My mother owned the copper Eagle cabins on the end of Lake Bailey. Went up to visit every year, it's an awesome place.

Great tips for a first time visitor. North Shore of Lake Superior is breathtaking; this sounds wonderful as well.
