There’s actually two heat shields you need to remove to be able to turn the bottom left tablock. What a pain in the a$$ Polaris has made this to change on the fly if you’re out on the trail! It was suggested to me to not refasten the bottom left tablock or the bottom T 27 torque screw. It’s bad enough that that bottom torque screw is a different size than the others, as well as needing a special long tool to reach it without dropping all the Pieces under the skid plates 🤦‍♂️ So glad I struggled to do all this and break in a spare belt before being stuck with this problem on the trail. Not to mention, I cut up my forearms pretty bad on the plastic housing trying to turn that bottom tab lock with the heat shield still in place. What a total nightmare job!
