He was actually not an official singer with the band, but he was the lead singer in Roger Taylor's tribute band, Queen Extravaganza, which is pretty much the official tribute band. He now has his own Queen tribute band, called Queen Celebration Live which he formed after leaving Queen Extravaganza, and did the vocals for Freddie Mercury singing scenes (excepting on the already recorded tracks) in Bo-Rhap (he cannot confirm he did all vocals due to contract conditions, in order not to take all credit from Rami Malek in the movie, that's why the "official" version is that the voices are a mix of Freddie, Marc and Rami's vocals)
