Tv series aren’t all bad in 2025. This selection is very American oriented. British and Canadian Tv are showing some great new shows this year. American TV is not the be all and end all for TV and the presented shows are season 2s.. Chin up. There are great shows if you look and are not stuck in your American vibe.

Six to eight episodes should be called a "mini-season". I remember getting annoyed when television settled on approximately 22 episodes per season, down from 30+ during the golden era. No wonder television is such a cesspool of failure. Whatever happened to creativity and imagination? Or has everything already been done before?

You are right. The first season of THE RIG was NOT very popular, so why make a Season 2? I will NOT be watching it.
