Folklore from all over the world is talking about fairies. In my native Sweden, I was always told that they were dancing on the meadows at dusk and dawn, and would lure children to follow them. They were beautiful and could do you a lot of favours if you treated them well however if you destroyed their homes or annoyed them, they would bring disease and bad luck. In Irish Fairy lore, it is said that the "present is an impression of the past". Are the ghostly figures so solemnly dancing across the lake, an imprint of what happened before. What are they trying to tell us? Should we yet again listen in to what nature and other beings are trying to tell us.
