In games where they only run 30 FPS by standard, I guess it can be very useful as it can boost it to 60 FPS - but if you already do 60 FPS, might not be need of more FPS', and might be a waste of resources. Although.... I need more testing, but I get the idea of the games that only run 30 FPS by default, then it comes in handy to boost it to 60 FPS.
