This is really bad. The specs keep changing on the video and There is no way that hub motor would need any help up that little hill. Whats the point of such a dumb demonstration.

my 250 watts motor ( from prodeco mariner old one with half battery capacity ) does better than that, so sorry but your review not very credible .

What a biased review! You picked a challenge that is clearly favoured to a mid drive and was an area where the hub motor would fail !
The only true way to work out what drive is best for an individual is to try both in an area where you are going to frequently use the bike and see what works! If someone was planning a 5mile commute and purchased a mid drive after watching this they would have been misinformed!

Mid drive kicks ass, but for a low-budget college commuter, hub motor is good for now.

I don't fully agree at all. I have a XION 250 watt with a maximum of 1100 watt rear hub motor that operates on sensors. Actually it is in par with a mid drive motor. It's easier going up hills with my XION rear hub motor rather than a might drive motor
